Angola: Carnival Commission Spends Over Akz 100 Million for 2013 Edition

Luanda — The provincial commission of Luanda Carnival released 120 million Kwanzas to fund the tasks related to the 2013 edition, Angop learnt Monday.

According to the organisation's source, the groups of child class received each 300,000 Kwanzas, while the collective of category B (adult) were entitled to 500,000 Kwanzas each.

In their turn, for the groups of class A (adult) the commission allocated 700,000 Kwanzas each.

Some 39 groups are competing the 2013 edition at Luanda's New Marginal Avenue. From this number 12 belongs to child class, 14 category B (adult) and 13 in the class A (adult).
