Angola: Over 70 Illegal DRC Citizens Detained in Uije Province

Uíge — At least 76 citizens from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) were repatriated on Sunday, through Quimbata bordering station, in Maquela do Zombo municipality, northern Uije province, by the Migration and Foreigner Services (SME), Angop has learnt.

This was announced by the SME's local official, Adriano Domingos Neto.

Among the illegal citizens are 33 women detained between January 20-26, 2013.

They were detained when attempting to head to Luanda, Angola's capital city.
