Luanda — The creation of local government requires special attention to the staff training, in addition to the holding of elections, said Monday in Luanda the Secretary of State for Institutional Affairs, Adão de Almeida.
Addressing an opening of 2013 academic year of Local Administration Institute (IFAL), Adão de Almeida considered the process a long and tough challenge which implies the creation of a set of conditions.
He mentioned, among others, the training of human resources so that the future municipal local government meets the requirements the Angolans have been generating.
The official called for the need to reflect on the profile of the staff in order to meet the challenges that lie ahead.
The ceremony was attended by provincial governors and vice governors, district administrators, lectures and other guests.
