The Federal Government admitted yesterday that it was uncertain about state efforts to implement their roles in the National Strategic Health Development Plan (NSHDP), Health Minister Onyebuchi Chukwu has said.
"We have not heard states talking so much of what they have done in their state component of the NSHDP," Chukwu said while receiving Ibrahim Fall, country representative of the UNICEF in his yesterday in Abuja. Fall replaces former UNICEF representative, Suomi Sakai, until UNICEF appoints a substantive representative.
NSHDP is a five-year roadmap to boost healthcare delivery and covers funding, personnel, management information system and research in health.
