Angola: Petro De Luanda Rests Ahead of Game With Portimonense

Luanda — The Angolan first league football team of Petro de Luanda that is on a pre-competition programme in Portugual, rested on Sunday, ahead of the game against the local second division's Portimonense on Tuesday, as part of its preparation for the next season starting in February, Angop has learnt.

This was after three days of tactical and physical training, with the team coached by the national Miller Gomes making a halt on Sunday.

Out of the team are Benjamim, from Ghana, who is still to join the team, Lamá and Bastos, who are participating in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (CAN-2013), in South Africa, same as Zambian Felix Katongo that is representing his country in the mentioned competition.

During the training period, Petro de Luanda drew 3-3 with Lagoa F.C and beat Portugal's first league, Olhanense and Alvorense by 4-1.
