Angola: Infantile Writer Releases Book

Lisbon — The Angolan infantile writer Cássia do Carmo released over the weekend the book entitled As Duas Amigas, inaugurating the collection "Histórias de Africa", with Porto publishing house, Angop has learnt.

The work tells on the life of two girls, Sara and Sandra, whose friendship is put at evidence due to social and economic factors, that surpass them and place them in a confusion of ideas and sentiments, a situation that ends in the force of a true friendship, whose roots were seen as very strong.

Making use of the common language, the work represents in many aspects similar situations lived by the current young people, in a world more and more in change and that nothing is what seems to be, reads the introduction.
