Nigeria Losing N105bn Annually to Pipeline Vandalism - NSCDC

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) said Nigeria is losing over N105billion worth of crude oil annually to pipeline vandalisation.

NSCDC spokesman Emmanuel Okeh stated this in a statement. He reiterated the resolve of the corps to protect government infrastructures through surveillance of petroleum pipelines across the country.

He noted that the corps has clamped down on many illegal refineries in Abia, Bayelsa, Delta, Cross River, Imo, Rivers, Ondo, bringing the total of illegal refineries destroyed by the corps to78.
