Gambia: Abdoulie Bah Wins 2013 Nisa Marathon

Abdoulie Bah, an officer of The Gambia Immigration Department over the weekend won the 2013 edition of the National Inter-Departmental Sports Association (NISA) organised marathon.

The event organised by NISAin collaboration with their visiting Senegalese counterparts brought together various departments contesting for the race which started from the Abuko Upper Basic School junction to Westfield.

In an interview with this reporter shortly after the race, Abdoulie Bah expressed delight, while thanking the Gambia Immigration Department (GID) for giving him the opportunity to represent it in this event. He also thanked NISA and their counterparts for the gifts and prizes given to him.

Meanwhile in the same event, Mariama T.Jallow of the Gambia Police Force also emerged as the winner for the female marathon.
