Kenya: Police Ban Carrying of Firearms

Police will ban unauthorized security aides of politicians from carrying firearms during the election period. Coast PPO Aggrey Adoli says they have received reports of misuse of firearms by people posing as politician's body guards in Mombasa. He says a team of detectives has been set up to investigate if they have genuine licenses before they are disarmed and arrested.
