Egypt: Canal Governorates Under Army's Control

The Second and Third Field Armies have taken positions to secure vital establishments and deter troublemakers in Suez and Port Said Governorates.

In Suez, the Third Field Army is stationed at the Governorate's HQ, Security Directorate, police stations, main streets and squares.

The Second Field Army took control of Port Said's entrances and intensified presence at Port Said Prison to achieve maximum safety for citizens and maintain Suez Canal security.

Additional reinforcements are also ready for fast deployment in case of sudden necessities.
