Egypt: Prime Minister Discusses State of Emergency Arrangements

Prime Minister Hisham Qandil discussed on Monday 29/1/2013 with Minister of Interior Mohammed Ibrahim the arrangements to be taken to implement the state of emergency in Suez Canal Governorates and the need to adhere to the curfew hours stated in the resolution.

Ibrahim delivered a report on the security situation in the whole country, especially in Suez Canal Governorates.

During the meeting, they emphasized the need to implement all the arrangements that maintain the peaceful expression of opinion, but, at the same time stressed the need to deal firmly with saboteurs who attack police troops and vital facilities.
