The PF has ditched former Registrar of Societies Clement Andeleki who applied to contest the Livingstone parliamentary by-election.
Andeleki was oozing with confidence after resigning his position in the civil service claiming that his father and mother are from a royal family in Southern Province and that he was qualified to be adopted.
After masquerading as a civil servant for over one year, Andeleki failed to conceal his PF political membership following coming under intense pressure because of his biased decisions against political parties and civil society organisations that were perceived to be government enemies.
He harassed the MMD with his unsuccessful attempts to de-register it though he managed to de-register many other civil society organisations that were perceived to be sympathizers of the MMD when it was in power.
The PF has instead adopted Lawrence Evans as its candidate for the Livingstone parliamentary by-election while Gabriel Namulambe will re-contest his seat after defecting from MMD.
