Kenya: I Will Create Jobs, Says Nyeri Hopeful

NYERI women's representative aspirant Rahab Mukami has promised to empower women if elected. Mukami said financing women will benefit the family and the country.

The aspirant, who is vying for the seat on a GNU ticket, promised to create jobs for the youth to distract them from abusing alcohol."I will ensure more jobs are created for the youth in the jua kali sector to enable them help build the country economically," she said.

She was speaking during a GNU party meeting held at Temple Road Hall in Nyeri town at the weekend.GNU secretary general Nderitu Gachagua and Nyeri parliamentary aspirant Duncan Mathenge attended the meeting.
