Kenya: Busia Blames Transition On County Ranks

Busia county drop in ranking in 2012 KCPE results released yesterday has been blamed on teething problems arising from transition from Provincial to county rankings.

Kenya Primary Schools Heads Association chairman Teso region Dedan Omanya said the transition from provincial to county system could have contributed to the drop.

"There were many teething problems ranging from managerial to pupils' fatique owing to postponement of the exams to teachers' strike," he said.
