Uganda: Pension Scam - Interdicted Officials Charged

Former Ministry of Public Service Permanent Secretary, Jimmy Lwamafa and three interdicted officials have been arraigned in court over pension scam.

Rwamafa and the trio, Commissioner Pensions, Stephen Kiwanuka-Kunsa, the Principal Accountant Christopher Obey and the head of IT, Richard Lubega are accused of paying sh63b pensioners' funds to ghost beneficiaries.
