Uganda: Star Trail - Ange Noir, Labamba Closed

According to a press statement released last week, Ange Noir [Mystique] will close its doors on its customers as the place undergoes renovation.

Ange Mystique, opened in 2002 as the premium wing of the then Ange Noir, will close its doors on January 31 for upgrade.

"It should be noted that Guvnor remains open to revellers and the usual programmes/theme nights are still in place," reads the statement.

Meanwhile, Labamba Nateete has also closed for renovation. According to Moses Walugembe, the proprietor of the pub, they have closed to give the bar a new look and to fit the dotcom era.

"We want to look unique, but Labamba Namungoona will remain open," said Walugembe.
