Angola: Head of State Sends Message to Brazilian Colleague

Luanda — Angolan president José Eduardo dos Santos has addressed a message to Brazilian counterpart, Dilma Rousseff, expressing "deep feeling of regret" over the death of more than 200 young people in a fire that swept throughout a nightclub in Santa Maria city, Rio Grande do Sul on 27 January.

According to a press release from the Civil Office of the President, that reached Angop Tuesday, José Eduardo dos Santos, who sent the message on behalf of the Angolan people and his own, also expressed his "solidarity and moral support."

The presidential message is also extensive to the Government of the Federative Republic of Brazil and all the bereaved families.
