Angola: Environmentalists Promote Thematic Theatre in Schools

Luanda — The Project Kitabanga of Agostinho Neto University (UAN) Sciences Faculty will hold this academic year a thematic theatre on the preservation of sea turtles in basic education schools.

This was announced Tuesday in Luanda by the head of the Environmental Education project, Vladimir Russo, during a workshop on National Environment Day, on January 31.

He noted that initially the programme will cover coastal zone-based schools, where there are sea turtles.

The event is intended to awakening the students to better protect the biodiversity, with stress to the sea turtles, in danger of extinction.
