Egypt: Morsi Visits Germany and France

President Mohamed Morsi will start on Wednesday 30/1/2013 a three-day official visit to France and Germany.

Morsi will visit Germany on 30-31/1/2013, where he will meet the German Chancellor Angela Merkel to discuss means of boosting bilateral relations in all fields.

He will also have meetings with the Egyptian-German Businessmen Forum and Chairmen of the Board of Directors of the biggest German companies to boost trade and economic cooperation.

The President will also meet the Egyptian community in Germany.

On 1/2/2013, Morsi will head for France to meet the French President François Hollande to discuss ways of boosting bilateral relations and issues of mutual concern, topped by the Syrian crisis.

Morsi's visits to Germany and France, the biggest European Union member states, are considered the first to the EU since he assumed power in June 2012
