Nigeria: PDP Deputy National Exco Passes Vote of Confidence in Tukur

The deputy national executive members of the PDP yesterday in Abuja passed a vote of confidence in the party's National Chairman, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur.

The Deputy National Auditor of the party, Sen. Umar Tsauri, who spoke on behalf of other deputies after they met with Tukur, said it was a joint decision of all the members.

"Today we told the National Chairman of the party of his leadership capabilities and the way he manages crisis within the party which gives us confidence in his leadership style," Tsauri said.

He debunked insinuation that there was leadership crisis within the ranks and file of the party.
