Angolan Book of Tales in Jerusalem Fair

Luanda — The Angolan anthology of short stories written by the essayist and lecturer António Quino will be released on 10 and 15 February in Israel, at the international fair of Jerusalem.

According to a note from the Angolan Writers Association (UEA) sent to ANGOP, a delegation of three writers will go to Israel to attend the event, namely Frederico Ningui, Nelson Pestana Bonavena and Gociante Patissa, authors of some stories.

The anthology also includes the writers like Carmo Neto, Roderick Nehone, José Luís Mendonça, Eduardo Bettencourt Pinto, José Eduardo Agualusa, Albino Carlos, João Tala, António Fonseca, Ondjaki, Timóteo Ulika and Zetho Gonçalves.

The work was translated into Hebrew, since the interested translators, as well as French and Italian scholars are translating them in the respective languages to publish it this year.
