Angola: Baía Farta Groups Receive Costume for Carnival

Baía Farta — The head of the Baia Farta Municipality's culture department, in the central Benguela Province, José Graça Tadeu, guaranteed on Monday that the three carnival groups of this area will get their costumes for the parade, scheduled for 12 February.

Speaking to ANGOP, José Graça explained that the holding of the municipal carnival in Baia Farta was cancelled due to the lack of a budget, so three groups were selected to participate in the provincial parade.

He explained that if the municipal parade had taken place ten groups would participate in it, but for financial reasons this is not possible.
