Kenya: 3 Illegal Fish Traders Held

Fisheries officers in Naivasha have arrested suspects found ferrying one tonne of undersize fish from Lake Naivasha. The three were nabbed in a matatu headed to Nairobi.

According to Naivasha district fisheries officer Mathew Ngila, the trade had been going on for some time. The officers were acting on a tip-off and laid a trap that led to their arrest They will be taken to court to face illegal fishing charges.
