Nigeria/Cote d'Ivoire: Nigerian Obi Mikel Wants a Victory Against Côte d'Ivoire

The Nigerian Super Eagles recorded a 2 - 0 victory over Ethiopia on Tuesday to get past the group stage, after finishing second in Group C behind Burkina Faso. The Eagles are set to face Ivory Coast.

However, Mikel Obi of the Nigerian side revealed in an interview with goal.com saying, "I think now that we are in the quarterfinals, we have to keep on what we are doing and hopefully we will be successful. We came here to win this Cup".

"I hope I am going to take penalties in the future, but Victor Moses was asked to take them. The most important thing is that we won the game".
