Kenya: Burglars Break Into Tourists Hotel Room

The police are investigating the a break-in at a Mombasa hotel room where two tourists were robbed off their belongings.

Coast tourist police boss Wycliffe Sicharani yesterday said burglars broke into the room when its occupants, Paul Thomason and his wife Debbie, had gone out for a two-hour walk.

A pair of binoculars, yellow fever certificates, malaria tablets, clothes and a driving license were stolen during the break-in. Sicharani said they have identified crucial leads and are closing down on the suspects.
