Kenya: Five Public Schools Top Nandi Kcpe List of Best Performers

Public schools were the top performers in last year's Kenya Certificate of Primary Education examinations in Nandi. The first five schools were from Mosop constituency.

St Mathews Septonok Primary School in Kabiyet, which had 47 candidates, topped the list with a mean score of 380 marks. Kalyet Septok Primary School, with 100 candidates, was third with a mean of 372.

Other best performers were AIC Teresia Primary School, which posted 377 marks and All Saints Kebulonik with 367. The best candidate in the county, 14-year-old Bethwel Kibet Rono, scored 422 marks from AIC Tinideret Academy.

Rono wants to join Alliance High School and become a neuro-surgeon. The best girl is Sharon Jepkemboi Kirwa from Mosop Glory Academy who scored 416.
