Eritrea: Health Center in Foro Semi-Urban Center Rendering Commendable Community Sensitization Service

Foro — The residents of Foro semi-urban center have expressed satisfaction with the commendable community sensitization service being rendered by the health center there

. They also pointed out that the number of admissions to the center and the community's awareness regarding various health issues is thus on the rise.

Among the residents, Mr. Saleh Osman Mohammed, Ms. Hayot Mohammed and Ms. Roblie Omar said that the health center has been upgrading the quality of its service, and lauded the commitment of its personnel.

Mr. Mengisteab Tewolde, head of the health center, on his part commended the residents' readiness to raise their awareness as regards health issues. Furthermore, he explained that it is rendering maternity, pediatrics, VCT and immunization service in various modes and both in stationed, as well as outreach form. Accordingly, the trend of child and mother mortality is on the decline.
