Angola: Fight Against Malaria Depends On Increase of Quick Tests Coverage

Luanda — The enlargement of mosquito network coverage and the increase of quick tests are one of the goals of the challenges of fight against malaria for 2012-2015 period, a source of the sector has announced.

This was said by the coordinator of the programme of fight against malaria, Filomeno Fortes, who also pointed out the improvement of microscopy diagnosis quality and prevention of medicine stock rupture as other goals.

Meanwhile, the source considered information and communication the preventing manners of fight against malaria.

The health authorities foresee to start in 2015, the malaria pre-elimination process.
