Angola: Ministry Concerned At Musicians Situation

Luanda — Angola's minister of Culture, Rosa Cruz e Silva, on Wednesday here highlighted the need of working to find out solutions to valorize and give prestige to the national music and the musicians, Angop has learnt.

The Minister voiced so at the opening of the workshop on the Angolan popular music, taking place on January 30-31, in Luanda.

The official also said that it is important to harmonize the works among associations, musical producers, public and private institutions to analyze the knowledge and find out solutions on the state of creation, investigation, production, publishing, distribution and

holding of shows, festivals, as well as to discover the factors that hinder the internationalization of the Angolan music.

According to the Minister, this is a great opportunity to find out the solution to the matters that hinder the development and divulgation of the national music.
