Togo: Supporters of the Hawks Still Behind the Game!

Recurrence for the fans of Hawks of Togo. After the opening match of Group D against Côte d'Ivoire, the group of supporters of the national team still lagged behind the stadium in Nelspruit.

Unlike the first time they have missed almost the entire first part of the game .

It took until the 15th minute before seeing fans hold their rows. This opened the scoring after Serge Gakpé from the 12th minute.

Even more surprising, when we thought it was the whole group, no. At the 30th minute, fans dressed in the colors of Togo continued to climb the steps of the Mbombela stadium to take their place. But it takes the 40th minute to finally see these incessant coming to an end.

The reason for this delay: the fans have had to take the bus Wednesday morning in Rustenburg (about 400 km) to join Nelspruit. A journey that we must travel with at least 6 hours by bus.

According to our information, the convoy was delayed at the start and suddenly arrived late. Another concern of much-maligned organization in the annals of Togolese football!
