Nigeria: Bristow Group Kits 400 Pupils in Akwa Ibom

Bristow Helicopters has distributed school kits to 400 pupils from four community schools in Akwa Ibom state as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme.

The pupils from communities of Eket, Esit, Ibeno and Onna were provided with school bags, uniforms, shoes, sportswear and sweaters.

Managing Director, Bristow Helicopters Nigeria Ltd, Captain Akin Oni said the company embarked on the project to provide support for primary school children to aid their educational success.

Oni who led the Bristow Uplift volunteers said the programme allowed the company to align its business practices with social investments that would make a positive difference and build strong community relationships.

Speaking in appreciation, Head Teacher, QIC Primary School, Ikot Akpatek, Onna Local Government Area, Elder Francis Marcus, stated that the Bristow Uplift programme is a kind gesture that has brought smiles to the children and their parents.
