The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) yesterday described former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nasir el-Rufai's re-tweet on Jesus Christ as reckless.

El-Rufai allegedly made a blasphemous re-tweet ealier in the week for which he has apologised.

Secretary General of CAN, Rev Musa Asake, in a press conference yesterday warned, "Maturity and dignified restraint of the Christian populace in the face of inflammatory statements should not be taken as license for unbridled assault".

Asake also appealed to the Christian community to continue to seek peace, love and harmony.
