Nigeria: Red Star Express Acquires Airside Facility At Lagos Airport

Lagos — Red Star Express, one of the nation's courier and logistics service providers has acquired an airside facility at the Lagos international airport.

Its Managing Director, Mr. Sule Bichi, who disclosed this in Lagos, said the development was part of his company's response to the fast-paced business environment in the country.

He said: "We operate in an environment where everything we do must reflect speed, accuracy and attention to details. There is zero tolerance for lapses and so we are constantly looking on strategic opportunities to improve upon our service to our customers.

"Acquiring a Red Star airside at the international airport will help us re-engineer our processes further in order to deliver more improved service to our customers."

He explained that the business move will help improve on the clearing period by reducing the time lag between the time arrival of parcels at the airport and delivery to final destination; upgrade operational processes; enhance level of control over custom delays; faster delivery and pick up time; and ultimately increase level of customer satisfaction.
