An unused United Nations building in Benghazi was hit by two homemade bombs on Tuesday (January 29th), Libya Herald reported. The attack on Gurji Road, in the city's Ghut Shaal district, left no injuries.
"One device exploded causing minor damages to the building and breaking several windows," UNSMIL spokesperson Radhia Achouri said. "A second, similar device was later found and successfully removed by the Libyan police, who reacted swiftly and effectively to the incident," she added.
