Nigeria: Cross River Tasks Multichoice to Expand Services, Assures Investors

Calabar — Management of Multichoice Ltd, a satellite TV services provider, has been tasked to extend its services to cover more areas of Cross River State.

The state Commissioner for Information, Chief Akin Ricketts, said it is a matter of necessity for the company to expand the "super dealership" offices to cover major towns in the state like Ugep, Ikom, Ogoja, Obudu and Okpoma-Yala, stressing that Cross River is a large state that requires more than two super dealer offices.

Chief Ricketts who was speaking at the formal launching of a new JEPSL Multichoice DSTV Super Dealer office at 147 Marian Road, Calabar, lauded the management and partners of Multichoice for the expansion initiative, emphasizing that this will bring the digital satellite television services closer to the people in the state.

He also assured prospective investors in the state of the government's continued support and commitment to providing a conducive and business friendly environment that will promote the growth and expansion of their businesses in the state.
