Egypt: Political Forces to March to Presidential Palace On Friday

The Egyptian political and revolutionary forces announced on Wednesday that are going to stage peaceful marches to the presidential palace on Friday.

In a statement issued by the Popular Current, they explained that the protest marches are to emphasize on the people's legitimate demands.

"The demands of the people are not met through the policies of President Mohamed Mursi, or the Muslim Brotherhood group that Mursi belongs to," said the statement.

Although the statement did not specify which political forces will participate in these marches, it announced that the political forces will hold a press conference on Thursday. They will announce their political stance and the route of the marches.

The statement called on the masses to participate in the marches.
