Gambia: 16-Year-Old Boy Needs Urgent Assistance

Buba Jallow, a 16-year-old boy and a resident of Nema, who is also a student of Abuko Upper Basic School, is in urgent need of assistance to undergo an overseas treatment.

According to a medical report issued from the Royal Victoria Teaching Hospital (RVTH), the patient was presented at the Orthopaedic out-patient with a deformed and shortened left leg associated with a 12-year history of fracture of left tibia, on accident of trauna.

The report added that he sought for traditional mal-union of the distal part of the tibia with varus deformity. He was therefore recommended to go for an overseas treatment.
