300 schools across the country are taking part in this year's National Read Aloud day. The aim is to Read for Peace and Pleasure and appeal to Kenyans to maintain peace during and after the elections. The children will read a story from Muthoni Muchemi's "Attack of the shidas." The story is about children from different communities working together to keep their communities from fighting.
