Al-Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed el-Tayyeb met on Thursday 31/1/2013 with a number of political and party leaders as well as leaders of the Egyptian churches.
This comes within the framework of an initiative, submitted by a number of Revolutionary youth, to halt violence in the country.
The meeting is expected to review the internal situation and means of ending the current crisis to restore security and stability as well as protecting revolution's achievements.
