Kenya: Kenzo Ventures Into the Aircon Business

Recently, celebrities have been in the news for trying their hands in new careers.

First was Jaguar's Taxi and garage business then radio presenter Kalekye Mumo and Wahu who both have hair salons in Westlands and now Kenzo has finally established his own air conditioner business.

Kenzo together with two of his friends have set up a business where they set up air conditioners in both business premises and also homes.

"This does not mean that music does not pay, I just needed a backup because even in the showbiz industry there is a low season," Kenzo told Word Is.

Having started the business earlier this year, Kenzo said it was doing well and he was in the process of having it as a registered company.

"The company will be called Matata Hii. We are three partners and I mostly deal with the brand marketing while they deal with the accounts and technical bits."
