Kenya: HIV Infections Increasing

The number of people living with HIV has risen to 1.6 million. The 2012 Kenya AIDS epidemic update report shows the number is likely to increase even further. NASCOP head Ibrahim Mohammed however says mother to child transmission has reduced due to PMTCT services.
