Angola: Over Thirty Groups to Participate in Cabinda Carnival

Cabinda — The edition 2013 of the carnival in Northern Cabinda province on February 12, will have the participation of 22 adults and 16 infantile groups, a source with the sector has announced.

The head of cultural action of the provincial secretary of culture, André Luemba, said Cabinda will be present with 22 groups and the rests are representatives of the other three municipalities.

The groups are benefiting from clothes, as well as are also guaranteed the prizes to the winners, whose amount has not been disclosed.

Meanwhile, the current edition will grant a homage to Mayeye de Talibeca, as well as two local musicians of the old generation.
