Angola: Fifty Nine Graduates in General Medicine Get Diploma

Benguela — The dean of the Faculty of Medicine of Katyavala Bwila University (FM-UKB), Maria Rosario Sambo, said on Thursday in Benguela that the institution is preparing to award diplomas to the first graduate in general Medicine to 59 students.

The official said that the future medical graduates who will be awarded end-of-course diplomas are undergoing traineeship in the health units in Benguela province.

According to the dean, 16 technicians will join the teaching staff of Faculty,that is why they have to undergo training in the specialities of didactics and methodology of scientific research.

The Faculty of Medicine is one of the six organic units of Katyavala Bwila University and covers the provinces of Benguela and Kwanza Sul.
