Angola: UNFAO Official Comments On Sustainable Development

Luanda — The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (UNFAO) director general, José Grazinao da Silva, on Thursday here asserted that the African countries

must integrate the sustainable development way, using resources in rational manner and in possession of the citizens, Angop has learnt.

The official told so to press, in the fringes of the presentation of the Angolan Executive Programme on the adoption to climate changes, under the commemorations of the environment national day, being marked Thursday.

He said that for a sustainable development it is necessary that exist resources, but it is known that resources in Africa still few.

There still existing an asymmetry in between the resources in Western and developing countries.

Rich countries should give more to the poor ones, but it has been noticed slowly so That it is improved the citizen's living standards, he said.
