Angola Ends Up in Antepenultimate Place of Afcon2013

Johannesburg — The Angolan national football team, who were eliminated from the group stage of the Africa Nations Cup (AFCON2013) of South Africa, will occupy the 14th position of the competition that will enter the quarterfinals stage on Saturday.

The organisers of the event already published the definitive list of the countries that were already eliminated from the competition, with Angola ending up in the 14th position (antepenultimate).

Angola finished the competition with one point, one goal scored and four goals suffered.

In the previous African Nations Cup, held in Gabon and Equatorial-Guinea, Angola occupied the 11th position with four points, one victory, one draw and one defeat, scoring four goals and suffering five.
