Nigeria: Faan Inaugurates 6 Fire Truck At Lagos Airport

As part of efforts to adequately tackle fire incident at nation's airports the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria ( FAAN) has inaugurated six fire-fighting trucks.

Speaking at the Murtala Muhammed Airport Lagos, Director of Airport Operations, Henry Omeogu, told journalists that it was part of the requirement for airport certification that the Federal Government was driving at in line with the transformation agenda

He said that the six fire-fighting trucks were not functional before they were refurbished by Kronenburg Company, based in Holland which is the manufacturer of the fire tenders.
