Kenya: Ex-KBC Boss Joins Mwingi TNA Campaign Team

Former Kenya Broadcasting Corporation Managing Director Caxton Munyoki has shelved his intention to run for the Mwingi West Parliamentary seat.

Caxton Munyoki said he had taken a job as the Jubilee campaign coordinator in the Mwingi subcounty where he will mount a formidable campaign against the Wiper party.

"The Wiper team used old Kanu tactics to deny me victory at the nominations but I will mount a vigorous campaign in Mwingi that will see candidates for Jubilee alliance win the polls," he said.

Although he had initially secured the TNA ticket after quiting WDM party he decided to drop his political ambition. The former KBC boss however said he harboured no bitterness as he announced his withdrawal from candidature.
