Kenya: High Tea for Top Chefs

Nairobi was recently in the heart of a culinary competition with the Radio Africa supported Taste Awards that came to a close on Thursday night.

However, the sampling of great food is far from over because the Chefs Delight awards are also in offing.

The awards are fronted by tourism content providers Go Places and fete the best chefs in the land.

Last weekend, they organised the Chef's Delight High Tea that saw several chefs showcase some of their best desserts to judges Mansoor Jiwani, Lucy Macridis, Chef Felix Huwyler and Wine bar's Philippe Cauviere.

The event at the Southern Sun in Parklands saw more than 18 chefs from various venues like The Boma and The Windsor. About 300 VIPs also turned up to sample the best in Kenyan cuisine. The winners of the awards will be announced at a later date.
