Rwanda football federation (FERWAFA) has invited the Uganda Cranes on a fully paid expenses trip to Kigali to challenge the hosts as the Stars gauge their readiness ahead of a 2014 World Cup qualifiers against Mali.
Efforts to reach Williamson for a comment yesterday were futile but Cranes media manager Katende Malibu confirmed the trip saying that the team will have a three day training starting tomorrow before departure to Rwanda on Tuesday.
"It is on short notice but worth taking up. Coach (Bobby) is going to name a squad by midday tomorrow (today) and training will start on Saturday," Malibu said.
