Kenya: Handing-Over Ceremony May Be Held in Nyayo Stadium

The hand-over ceremony will be held at the Nyayo stadium and not Uhuru park as widely anticipated. A committee planning the logistics headed by Head of Civil Service Francis Kimemia says it has proposed the venue since its more secure but will first seek the opinion of the president elect.

The IEBC has also moved the national tallying station from the KICC to the Bomas of Kenya.
